Love hate relationship

I love this app, Ive been using it for a while now and I almost cant get enough of it,but with his new update,and Im not sure if this is just my iPad being stupid or the update itself, but I cannot import images. I click on the import image this and go to my picture to I can color something I have already drawn and it completely kicks me out of the app, or it does absolutely nothing. I have shut my iPad down, and made new sketches for it, but nothing works, if this is a bug of some sort please fix.
