Sketchbook® App Reviews

I have a lot of drawing apps and just got the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Compared to some other apps like Procreate there is some lag. Also the strokes do not start at the tip of pencil. There is couple of mm before the stroke draws from tip of pencil which makes it pretty much unusable.

The app is pretty great when it comes to features. I feel at home when switching from desktop to mobile. Couple of things I hope to see in the future: - steady stroke like in the PC version. -French curve. -tif export. Thanks for the great app!

App crashes on open. Please fix!

Love SK Pro, but the lag makes it completely unusable with the Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro. If your goal is to draw or paint on your Pro with the Apple Pencil this is not the app to buy in my opinion. Hope it can be fixed.

Unable to use it at all

Im not even sure why autodesk bothers making apps because they are usually garbage. This app is truly a joke for the iPad pro. Every single brush is horribly basic and the canvas resolution is fixed at some tiny amount of pixels, at 100% zoom you are looking at a box 1/3 of the size of the screen. Skip this app and pay for something decent, or try one of adobes free apps. Nice looking icon, you get a gold star.

I dont care how much this app takes up on my device, I want more layers. Sketch club has plenty! Other than that the app is fantastic!

Great app, lots of brushes and settings to customize, but not too much so that a beginner wont understand. More layers would be preferable though. Please add more layers!

The app works well. There is a great selection of tools but only allows three layers, hopefully that gets changed! Other then that, the app is great!

Desperatly need a tutorial for this app. Im used to sketchbook pro, it disappeared and I cant figure out this version. I went on the net and cant find help. How does it work? Help please. Thank you

I love the app and Ive used it for a year but I dont like the fact we can only have 18 layers maximum and the canvas size is literally 2 of the same things just smaller. If you could add a chooseable canvas size I would be much happier with the app

Give me back my pro tools!! It wont show my pro tools!! I can show you my things which CLEARLY are pro tools. Otherwise, I loooove the app on my phone and Samsung Galaxy s4pad

Very easy and fun to use if you know how to draw! ^_^

It awsome but when I was doing a picture it stay in one place and I could not move it so I when out and when I came back in to the app there was ten part of the background in different place and so I erased it and draw it again then I was going to save it then it deleted all my pictures and it had all my bad picture so please fix it

I have good wifi but its really slow when I try to move something Also when I was copying a drawing from underneath layer I turned the layer off and I couldnt draw on the layer I was copying the pic ONTO. only the linesI could draw on. I checked all my preferences and everything was good. Also I reseted it and still didnt work. Also I somehow Cant use my clear colour/eraser because it says no transparency allowed or something like that? So PLZ fix it

I like the Mac version of Sketchbook, but the iPad version has terrible drawing with the Apple Pencil. Its impossible to draw small, detailed little drawings -- try to draw a little scribble dot, and the colour picker turns on; disable the colour picker, try again, and it doesnt even draw. The Apple Pencil allows for small, precise drawing in other apps like Procreate, but its implementation in Sketchbook is unusable.

I love Sketchbook Pro on PC but this version is so limited. Annoying color picker that responds to pencil and pops when painting small detail.i cant create a brush. Selecting and transforming is awkward.

Update crashes. This has been crashing since the last update how long ago? Cant even open it...Im wondering if they will take note and FIX THIS APP....

Worked well on my MacBook but my subscription will not restore on my MacMini. Complained to Autodesk, they told me to complain to Apple and they told me to complain to Autodesk... Useless. Im not alone, look for this problem on the Internet and youll find it.

The brushes range is too few and I cannot find where I can adjust the width of the brushes. The sketchbook express is even better than this though you intensively limited some features on that. I liked your support of new Wacom Creative Stylus so quick and I can share my works to DeviantArt via the app directly, though as art creation is main purpose. I rest my case and remain Procreate on my iPad for now. Good luck to your future improvements.
